Besides that, artclub'll also be making a personalised keychain for each birthday kid. We'll be celebrating every 2 months (to be confirmed).

we'll require people to design the transparency, and also people to work with the kiln (shrinking the transparency into a keychain size).

hello art club,

you might have received the sms that i sent earlier on regarding the mooncake festival.

anw, i shall elaborate more on that (haha cos i wanted to squeeze evrything into 1 sms [= )

anw there's this mooncake festival this friday, and SC needs people to help them stick the notes (written by all the classes in junior high) onto the helium balloons, before releasing them into the air (somewhat like a modification of lanterns)

but DON'T WORRY if you don't have time to commit to other stuff, because this thingy will be WITHIN THE CELEBRATION ITSELF. so you are like getting CIP hours and enjoying yourself at the same time. (at least i hope xD )

okay, so anw interested people pls pls contact Jia Zhen asap before tmr.

cos SC wants 10 poeple and so far only eleana and miao miao are interested.

Hi Art Club,

we were thinking of selling personalised teeshirts in conjunction with Teachers' Day.

The aim of this project is to raise funds for DHS needy fund and also for DHS art fund. (so that we can get more money and thus able to do more stuff nxt yr haha)

If there are sufficient volunteers, we will give out order forms to the whole school, and they can either choose default designs or make their own designs.

Tee-shirts for teachers, or Friendship tee-shirts, or Class tee-shirts can be made.

However, we will need volunteers from Art Club to help with the printing and designing of tee shirts.

The estimated printing schedule is from 16th to the 25th August, and we are supposed to complete all ordered teeshirts during that period of time. However, volunteers can help with the designing and making of stencils before that.

Anyone's interested, please tag on tagboard/ sms Jia Zhen/ Gui Wan Ying/ Kaiwen! =D

HELLO!

To all Year 3 AC people:

As you all should know, Open House 2008 is coming up this coming saturday, 24th May and we need four year 3 members top help out [of course cip hours included]

There are two timeslots:
(A) 9am-11am
(B) 11am-2pm

for timeslot (B), lunch will be provided so don't worry about that

In total there'll be 8 ac members involved in open house.
4 will do the morning shift (A) and the remaining 4 will do the afternoon shift (B)

Please note that 2 people from each shift will have to go and help out at the aesthetics booth which is located in the hall. You may swop with the other 2 people at the art club booth at intervals. There wil be teachers at the respective booths, so you don't have to worry about what you have to do, the teachers will tell you.

Also, please make sure that there is at the very least ONE PERSON at the booth at any one time.

I will be in school for the whole day during Open House so if there are any problems please come and look for me or call me at 81288605 (:

If you are not coming for art club session/ will be late, please please inform your respective level heads. They have been announced before, but maybe some people have forgotten them.

painting the elderly's homes
8 people will be assigned to one home, groupings will be announced later
these 8 people are supposed to paint finish one house each day, and paint a total of 2 houses in the 2 days.
please paint the walls properly and carefully, seriously no fooling around okay cos it's someone's house that we are talking about! you wouldn't want your house to be filled with paint and dirt right? =)
date: 16 and 17 of June
compulsory for ALL art club members, except those going overseas.
